I was researching material on deck repair and replacement and stumbled across this short video clip of what looks like a CD 28 hardtop cruiser anchored in someone's backyard after Hurricane Sandy. No further information about the boat although it seems to be undamaged. Does anyone have any information on this boat or what happened to it?

By the way, the deck material I was looking at is called PLASdeck. If you look at video numbers 65 and 66 of this YouTube channel there is the start of a series about installing this product on the aft deck of a CD 28. I haven't been able to find the follow-on videos to see how the installation turned out.

Does anyone have any experience with this product??

Bertie

From the members listing, the boat in the video might be Argo #63.

Bertie, that was Argo (Hull #63) in both the post Sandy video and, coincidently, having Plasdeck installed. The owner of Argo is in the members list. He installed Plasdeck in the cockpit of Argo as can be seen in the pics of his Mar 5, 2012 listing. Go to forums and search for Plasdeck. Click on his Mar 05, 2012 listing and then on the link provided in the listing. Once there, if you click on the "current project" along the top of the screen you'll see a finished picture of the application.

Thanks Bruce.....

It's quite an amazing coincidence that the backyard boat was also one that had installed PLASdeck!! I'll follow up your lead within the forum.

Thanks.........Bertie
