Post subject: Brass Name Plate  PostPosted: Sep 11, 2012 - 12:05 AM

Here I go again with the "odd queation". The small brass plate that is attached to the helm was missing when I purchased "Emotional Rescue". I located the plate in a corner of the boat where it apparently got misplaced so it was all green. I cleaned it off but was not able to read it entirely. If someone could be so kind as to respond with the proper information I would like to have a new plate engraved so I can remount it. (I can not read what comes after the word 'Yacht' -or- what is after 'Mass')

I moved the brass Cape Dory plate from the helm station where it could not be seen to the bulkhead in the salon, so when you are sitting around the table you can see it. I took a photo but can not post it.

vibound2000 I sent you a PM

I have a couple of photographs of CD28 plates that were kindly sent to me. It seems that the originals weren't always the exact same format. LOL
