I was just looking at photo's of other CD28's in the Gallery and saw something bolted on the back of #095 Suprise below the swim platform.

After many years of boating I'm suprised I don't know what it is.

Look at the 5th pic in the Hull #95 Gallery

Just wondering.

A rather interesting attachment that appears to be part of the exhaust due to it's location. Just a guess.

For lack of a better term, they're "down spouts". They discharge the exhaust underwater to muffle the sound.
When I purchased Surprise their removal was near the top of my "to-do" list.
